Adaptive Athletics March 2024 update

In 2023, we have worked with over 100 participants from the age of 6 years to over 50 years.

We have run sessions and competitions for those with a wide range of disability – physical, intellectual, deaf and blind.

Our approach to Adaptive and Para-Athletics is to “respect the individual and adapt the activities”.

At the AGM last month the committee for the coming season were elected. These guys are all volunteers and work really hard throughout the year on all aspects of keeping the club running - and don't they do a great job?!The committee also include all our team managers. Thank you everyone. The committee meet once a month online, usually the second Monday of the month. All club members are invited and welcome to attend. Don't forget that the club needs loads of other volunteers to help with a wide variety of roles/jobs, so please do ensure that you help out at least once during the season. We particularly need volunteers to take part as officials, please contact Andrew on Yateacofficials@gmail.com for all the info. ... See MoreSee Less
